EES held a Nonconference on 29th October and 19th November 2025

The EES NonConference 2025, hosted by the European Evaluation Society’s Thematic Working Group 8 (TWG8) in collaboration with SETIG and IFSR, was an interactive, two-day event focused on systems thinking and complexity in evaluation. The event aimed to transition participants from reflection to action in preparation for the EES Lille 2026 Biennial Conference.

The gathering utilized a “Nonconference” format featuring interactive dialogue and an informal lounge space to explore non-linear evaluation approaches. It targeted evaluators, policymakers, and systems thinkers to foster shared inquiry.
