The 25th International Symposium on Knowledge and Systems Sciences (KSS2026) will take place from 13–15 November 2026 at Auckland University of Technology, Auckland, New Zealand.
This year’s symposium will explore the theme “Knowledge Systems Sciences in the Era of Agentic AI”, bringing together perspectives across knowledge and systems sciences in response to emerging developments in artificial intelligence.
Conference topics include knowledge creation and management, AI and intelligent systems, systems science and complexity, sustainability and resilience, and data science and analytics.
The symposium will also feature a special forum on AI in Education, exploring both the opportunities presented by generative and agentic AI and important questions concerning responsible use, academic integrity, privacy, equity, critical thinking and human oversight.
KSS2026 is hosted by the School of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences at Auckland University of Technology.
