We are a union of national learned societies. The scholarly systemic societies of each European country are entitled to join the EUS. The EUS strives to create, with its network of societies, a context conducive to the advancement of systemic systems (both its theoretical foundations, methodologies or applications) and its dissemination, Promoting cross-disciplinary exchanges.
The EUS encourages and facilitates, through its member societies, all means of disseminating the system through writing, the Internet and through training for students and professionals. As regards writing, the European Congresses gave rise to a publication of Proceedings containing most of the papers.
We organize, co-organized or coordinate meetings, seminars, summer schools, congresses and publications by our members.
