Who are we?
SCiO is dedicated to the advancement of the awareness, knowledge and practice of Systems Thinking, and its recognition as a profession.
What is our focus?
Developing practice in applying systems ideas to a range of organisational and institutional issues, Disseminating the use of systems approaches in dealing with complex situations, and Supporting practitioners in their professional practice.
What are our activities?
We currently have chapters set up in the UK, DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) the Netherlands, Ireland, Finland and Belgium. National chapters run their own events – currently around 50 meetings per year. We are open to forming new chapters in other countries. We also hold an annual Systems Practice conference. We offer an extensive and unique set of courses in systems practice and intervention approaches to individuals and organisations. SCiO has a systems competency framework and a professional grading structure for members.
