Rika Preiser is an Associate Professor at the Centre for Sustainability Transitions at Stellenbosch University, South Africa, where she is UNESCO Co-Chair in Complexity and Transformative African Futures.

Her research integrates philosophical inquiry with complex adaptive systems science, environmental philosophy, and ethics to address social-ecological challenges.
