IFSR co-operating with the EES a Nonconference – FREE for IFSR members!
Second day coming up on November 19th, see details on how to register!
Practitioners of systems thinking and evaluation, committed to learning and exploring how to respond to the challenges of complexity and uncertainty, are coming together on October 29th and November 19th for Nonconference.
Members of European Evaluation Society (EES) TWG8 and American Evaluation Association SETIG have come together to engage in a systemic inquiry – a collaborative learning journey – and we invite others who share this interest to join us.
After a series of preparatory workshops, this will bring together practitioners from across the world for this Nonconference – a format, in collaboration with the International Federation for Systems Research (IFSR), that marks a deliberate departure from traditional conferences. Instead of keynotes, panels, or formal presentations, it creates a dynamic space for shared inquiry, reflection, and emergent dialogue.
The Nonconference embodies the spirit of open inquiry and curiosity. It invites participants to embrace complexity, remain open to multiple perspectives, and resist the urge to reach premature conclusions. Here, questions guide the process, and meaning emerges through thoughtful interaction, attentive listening, and collaborative sense-making.
